I know what you’re saying, James didn’t you just get rid of your 1? Don’t tell us that you got another 1.
I didn’t, this is my dad’s ride. It’s a 2013 135is with the DCT in mineral grey. I’ve been home for just a little over 2 weeks now and this was the first time I’ve driven it in a while, I think since like December. You forget how quick the DCT is, also the M exhaust sounds awesome, I love my V8, but a BMW straight 6 also sounds really good, in a different way. It makes me want another 1 series again, too bad these are still like 30k.

I’m not sure why, but I’ve always described the 1 series as punchy. However I’ve never driven one. Tell me I’m using the right word for it!?!

I owned a 128i and have driven my dad’s 135is a decent amount, probably close to 4 hours, I guess that could describe them. Boost comes on pretty quick in the 135is, something like 1500 RPM. The 128i is not a fast car, but by no means is it slow.

Still $30k, but you know how few calls the sellers are getting.

Not sure about the calls, I’m not actively looking for a new car yet. You helping someone sell a 135is?

No 335i. You mentioned you got no calls on the 128, I haven’t gotten any on this one. I’m assuming the 135's aren’t getting many calls either.

Ah, I have no idea about 135 owners, my dad likes his too much to sell it.

Once you’re gainfully employed again, a M235i would be a great daily!

Yeah it would. I might be trying to be cheap with this next car as I won’t be making oil money anymore, but we shall see.
